My cousin told me last year that I should buy Instagram followers to help me with my struggling business. It was actually a side project technically, because I had a full time job that was paying the bills at the time. However, my passion was not with that work but rather with the painting that I was doing as often as I could. My cousin told me that my paintings will get noticed a lot more on my Instagram account if I had more followers. I honestly did not follow his logic on that though because if I was paying for people to follow me, then how would that benefit me?
Thankfully, he was patient with me, and I completely understand how it all works now. The only way to have success on social media is to have people looking at the stuff you are putting on there. For me, I chose Instagram because I can just post pictures of my paintings and put a few words or nothing at all if I just wanted the focus to be on the painting itself. That is fine and dandy if I have a lot of followers already. If I don’t though, then not too many people will see what I am putting there.
He further explained that if I bought followers, then I would rank higher because it would show that more people are looking at my profile and liking what they see. This in turn highlights me to even more people, and hopefully some of those people will like my profile on their own. It was a lot to wrap my head around at first, but I decided to go ahead and do it because the site that was selling the followers had such great prices. I am so glad I took a chance on this because everything my cousin said was right. I have sold quite a few paintings in this last year, and I am at the point now where I am seriously considering making painting my full time career.
